Fayette County Board of Review member and Fayette County Board of Review secretary.

The Fayette County Conference Board is seeking an individual for appointment as a member to the Board of Review and an individual to serve as the secretary to the Board of Review. These are part time positions. The Board of Review is an independent five-member board.

Their primary duty is to hear and act on protests to the assessment of real property. Residency in Fayette County is a requirement. For the member position, experience in farming, real estate, or construction/architecture would be desirable. The Board of Review meets during May each year and at other times as required by law. Pay is based on a per diem basis.


Roadside Technician

 

Fayette County Conservation Board is seeking candidates for the position of Roadside Technician.

This position reports to the Roadside Manager and assists in implementing a comprehensive Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management Plan for Fayette County.  Candidates must meet the qualifications set forth in the job description.

Emergency Management Coordinator

Position Posting

 

The Fayette County Emergency Management Commission is seeking a full-time position as an Emergency Management Coordinator. The Emergency Management Coordinator shall provide guidance on policies concerning the development of readiness in emergencies.  In doing so, the Coordinator will work to:

Maintain compliance with Iowa code Chapter 29c

Develop, review, revise, and maintain countywide emergency management program

Ensure preparedness, collaborating with various Fayette County agencies and Emergency Responders

Obtain and retain necessary certifications

Perform all other tasks as detailed in the job description.
