Clerk
The Fayette County Assessors office is currently accepting resumes/applications for the position of clerk. Primary duties will include but are not limited to providing customer service to the public in a professional and courteous manner, preparing & distributing forms for credits and exemptions that pertain to property taxes, maintaining records and files in the Assessor office, and processing name changes on deeds and transfer documents. This position will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the county Assessor’s office with a variety of duties.
Eligible candidates must:
· Have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent.
· Possess strong communication and customer service skills in a courteous manner.
· Willingness to work in a positive “Team” culture.
· Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism in all tasks.
· Potential to learn new skills, definitions, and real estate information.
· Ability to operate standard office equipment including a computer, telephone, copier & scanner.
Position: Full-time, non-exempt, and at will

Fayette County Conservation Board is seeking candidates for the position of Roadside Technician. This position reports to the Roadside Manager and assists in implementing

Fayette County, Iowa is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Information Technology.
The Director of IT plans, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operations of the information technology needs of the county in coordination with other agencies and boards. The IT Director works to identify, obtain, and deploy technology needs, administers the budget, staff, and physical facilities of the department.
Provides oversite of information security enforcement and budget administration, as well as manages IT projects to ensure quality results and timely completion.
Salary: 70,000 - 75,000
The position is primarily Monday – Friday, with the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the county assisting with needs after business and on Weekend/Holidays.
