Fayette County Conservation Board is seeking candidates for the position of Roadside Vegetation Manager.

 

This position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and oversight of all aspects of the countywide Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management Plan.

 

Fayette County Residency is required.

The Fayette County Auditor’s office is currently seeking candidates for the position of Clerk.

 

This position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the county Auditor’s office with a variety of duties. Primary duties will include but are not limited to processing claims for payment for all services and materials rendered and charged to various county departments, processing passports, recording real estate transfers, and assisting with general office work (i.e. answering telephone, filing documents, etc.)

Qualified candidates must:

 

● have a college background in accounting; real estate experience preferred.

● maintain a valid Iowa driver’s license and be insurable under the county’s vehicle insurance policy.

● represent Fayette County in a professional, responsible, and trustworthy manner.

 

This is a Full-time, exempt position. Salary is based on experience and qualifications.

Environmental Education Coordinator

 

This position, under the direction of the Fayette County Executive Director, is responsible for developing, organizing, and presenting the Fayette County Conservation Board’s education program.  The Environmental Education Coordinator educates the public about the county’s natural environment and promotes environmental responsibility and stewardship by presenting programs in schools, at county facilities and other public settings. 

 

A two-year college degree and one year experience in a natural resources, conservation or education field is required.  Must have a valid Iowa driver's license, be insurable by the county’s insurance policy, and must successfully complete a post-offer job-related medical examination.  Fayette County residency is required.
