Field appraiser

Position

 

The Fayette County Assessors office is currently accepting resumes/applications for the position of field appraiser. Primary duties will include but are not limited to locating, inspecting & listing all property subject to valuation in Fayette County. This position will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the county Assessor’s office with a variety of duties.

 

Eligible candidates must:

• Possess appraisal, assessment, real estate or construction experience

• Exhibit excellent customer relation skills, be an effective communicator, and work well alone and in a team environment.

• Have a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.

• Ability to work outdoors and in an office setting.

 

Position:

Emergency Management Coordinator

The Fayette County Emergency Management Commission is seeking a full-time position as an Emergency Management Coordinator. The Emergency Management Coordinator shall provide guidance on policies concerning the development of readiness in emergencies.  In doing so, the Coordinator will work to:

Maintain compliance with Iowa code Chapter 29c

Develop, review, revise, and maintain countywide emergency management program

Ensure preparedness, collaborating with various Fayette County agencies and Emergency Responders

Obtain and retain necessary certifications

Perform all other tasks as detailed in the job description.
