This full-time, exempt position, under the direction of the Fayette County Conservation Board, is responsible for managing all aspects of county conservation board operations, providing support and oversite of work performed in county parks, wildlife and recreation areas, roadside vegetative management and environmental education programing.  The Executive Director is also responsible for preparing and administering the annual budget, planning and recommendation of programs, acquiring and securing funding; and performing various public relations functions.

A two-year college degree preferred, and/or combination of education and training; and 3-5 years of conservation leadership experience that demonstrates the skills and abilities necessary to perform essential job duties; including personnel supervision and budgetary management.
